A Christiana man has been arrested on a charge of DUI Number 4. Ronald Patterson was pulled over by a police officer at 1:00 in the afternoon on Valentine’s Day, last week in Murfreesboro. Officer Jackson wrote in a report, “The vehicle was failing to maintain its lane, had a cracked windshield and none of the occupants were belted in.”

The MPD Officer who spotted the truck being operated by Patterson was actually on the way into work when the possible drunk driver was seen. Officer Jackson followed the driver to a gas station where it was noted that Patterson could be observed drinking a beer. A quick check with dispatch reveled that Patterson was already driving on a revoked license for a past DUI conviction, according to an arrest report.

The report went on to say that when Patterson was asked to perform a field sobriety test, he stated that he already had about 10-beers prior to stopping at the gas station. Just to recap, he was charged with DUI number four. He was also charged with driving on a revoked license for a second time and having an open container in a motor vehicle. Patterson will appear in court on May 29, 2014.
