A Thompson Road man faces several alcohol and drug charges after someone called Murfreesboro Police about a possible impaired driver. The call came in just before 1:30 Saturday morning. The complainant followed the driver until police made the stop. That's when police reports indicate 36-year old Michael Anthony Price, Jr. appeared intoxicated. He failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. During a search of Price's vehicle, authorities found a lunch box in the floor board with point-eight-three ounces of marijuana inside along with a scale. Also confiscated from the suspect's wallet was a baggie with cocaine inside. Price faces charges of felony possession of a schedule six drug, simple possession of a schedule two drug, drug paraphernalia and D-U-I.
