Eagleville FFA Earns Outstanding Chapter

The Eagleville Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter of the Rutherford County was presented with the Outstanding Chapter Award at Camp Clements on June 15, 2018. Eagleville brought with them 51 members, 3 chaperones, and 2 advisors. More than 200 students, advisors and guests attended what was the third of seven weeks of Leadership Training Camp offered to the Tennessee FFA membership.

Chapter officer teams must be active in officer classes, specialty classes, have a representative elected to Camp Council, and have a large sum of their members qualify for the gold leadership award to be considered for the Outstanding Chapter Award

This week, the Eagleville FFA chapter took home several honors including: Camp Council officer, Ivie Burns; Extemporaneous winner, Haylee Ferguson; Quiz Contest winner, Karsen Daniel; and second place participants in the Quiz Bowl were Haylee Ferguson, Carson Daniel, Devon Yates, and Ivie Burns.

The Eagleville FFA officers for Camp Clements were: President, Ivie Burns; Vice-President, Karsen Daniel; Secretary, Devon Yates; Treasurer, Madison Roberts; Reporter, Andrew Moix; and Sentinel, Caitlyn Benton. The chapter's advisors are Mrs. Marshal and Mr. Haley.
