Murfreesboro Police were called to an East Castle Street home to check on the welfare of three small children after receiving a tip of people smoking marijuana. When they arrived Tuesday night, the officer found several people inside the home along with the children, ages six months, three years and four years. The M-P-D report shows officers found metal grinders, used to manufacture marijuana along with several packages of the drug. Fifty-year old Barry Anderson at first told police it wasn't his, but later admitted to selling marijuana. He was arrested and charged with manufacture and sale of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. The Department of Children's Services was also called, due to the conditions inside the home.
