A 39-year old East Main Street man has been arrested for his fourth DUI. Shawn Goodbar was arrested on Saturday afternoon by Murfreesboro Police Officer Eric Renfroe.

The officer was responding to a call of an intoxicated person in the 17-hundred block of West Northfield Boulevard. When Renfroe arrived, he witnessed the suspect getting into the driver's seat of a black Ford Explorer with keys in his hand.

Goodbar reportedly failed field sobriety tests and was arrested. That's when it was learned he had three previous DUI convictions. He'll answer to the latest DUI charge in General Sessions Court May 4th.
