Endangered Child Alert issued for Middle Tennessee

A Middle Tennessee Endangered Child Alert has been issued for the Smith County Sheriff’s Department.Laura Pewitt was last seen on August 5, 2008 at her residence in Brush Creek, TN. Laura is believed to be with a Hispanic Male in a 90’s model Ford F150, blue in color. The male subject is known to be armed with a .38 revolver. Laura’s last contact was at 1:30 a.m. on August 6, when she told her friend that she was arguing with the male subject. There has been no contact with Laura since that time.
