More counterfeit bills have turned up in Murfreesboro. This time, the Hardee's restaurant on South Church Street reported the crime.

A worker in the fast food eatery told police that a white SUV came through the drive through and bought a meal with what later turned out to be a counterfeit $100 bill. A day prior, a white male visited the interior dining room of Hardee's and used a fake $100.

Both cases maybe tied together, according to a recent Murfreesboro Police Report.

On a positive note, the cameras at Hardees were able to capture a tag number on the SUV that returned to an address on Rome Court in Murfreesboro.

The case is under investigation.
