The City of La Vergne Youth Baseball & Softball League is having fall ball registration now until Thursday, August 14. Sign-ups will take place at the Parks and Recreation Department, 294 Sand Hill Rd., from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. or at Veterans Memorial Park softball fields in the offices above the concession stand from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

“The league is a community youth baseball and softball program for the youth of the City of La Vergne,” said Parks & Recreation Director A.C. Davis. “We are dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and affordable activity for the children of our community.:

The fall recreational baseball and softball league is for boys and girls ages 4 through 19. Registration fees are $50 for all ages. Fees will pay for shirts and caps, as well as umpire fees and other expenses. Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate. Volunteer applications are also being accepted during this time, pending a background check.

Opening day is Saturday, September 6 at 10:00 a.m.
