The Rutherford County Farmer's Market will again be open this Tuesday and Friday. Along with that, there are some educational opportunities for area residents.

Tuesday's class is entitled "Beekeeping 101" and will be presented by Susan Welchance, a local beekeeper. The class is free, starts at 9 a.m. and lasts about 1 hour in the Community Center at the Lane Agri-Park where the Farmers Market is located.

Art Whitaker from the Mid-State Brew Crew will present "Homebrewing 101" on Friday. He'll teach the basic principles of making your own beer at home.
