Farmer's Market Classes include Mushroom Gardening and Lasagna Gardening

The Rutherford County Farmer's Market has free classes that begin at 9 a.m. in the Lane Agri-Park Community Center each Tuesday and Friday while the market is open. Tuesday's class is on Mushroom Gardening and Friday's is on Lasagna Gardening. The Lane Agri-Park Community Center is located at 315 John R. Rice Blvd.

October 14
"Mushroom Gardening" is the topic on Tuesday, October 14. Learn to grow your own bed of mushrooms at home! This is a basic, intro class presented by Floyd Adams, Certified Master Gardener.

October 17
On Friday, October 17, the topic is "Lasagna Gardening (Raised Beds)." This class starts at 9 a.m. as well and will be given by Linda Lindquist, Certified Master Gardener. Lasagna gardening is an easy, no digging, no tilling way to create a garden bed your flowers or veggies will love!
