FIREWORKS SHOW is “ON” for July 4th

The show will go on… The Murfreesboro Firework Show on the 4th of July that is. The company in charge of this years program is Pyro Shows, Incorporated out of LaFollette, Tennessee. The cost of the July 4th program is $20-grand. $10-thousand of that will be covered by the city and the other $10-thousand will be paid by Rutherford County.

The best seats in town for the program? The MTSU campus.

    I’m shocked they are not charging admission for this to help pay for the pool.

    Is it not a long way from SportCom, site of the Fireworks, from MTSU Campus?

    Shooting off the fireworks from the Sports Com will make a great show ! Particularly for the pilots at the airport. I am sure that the runway will be closed during the show, but the best view of of a fireworks show is definitely from above.

    During the 1976 bicentenial celebration my wife and I flew over Atlanta in a Cessna 172. It is unbelievable to watch the shells blossom and bloom from above with the city below. It was like flying over a magical garden.
