Local residents are encouraged to bring non-perishable, holiday-themed food items, such as instant potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce, to The Alley on Main to help local families who are struggling to find their next meal.

Armstrong Relocation of Nashville has been generous enough to provide boxes for the collection, and will deliver all of the donations to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

There are over 1.1 million people in Tennessee who struggle with food insecurity, including 1 in 4 children. Through the support of individuals like Kate Frye and partners like The Alley on Main and Armstrong Relocation, Move For Hunger can continue to help the almost 50 million Americans struggling to find their next meal.

Move For Hunger is a non-profit organization that mobilizes the relocation industry to fight hunger and reduce food waste. In addition to collecting food from people who are moving to new homes, Move For Hunger helps companies and individuals across the United States and Canada organize successful food drives.
