Four Arrested in Fraudulent Credit Card Case in Murfreesboro

WGNS has more news on a credit card fraud case in Murfreesboro that came to a closure on August 17, 2016.

A total of 83 magnetic card strips used when companies make credit cards were seized by Murfreesboro Police in the parking lot of Walmart on Memorial Boulevard. Evidently, the suspects were in the store where they were accused of using re-encoded credit cards to make multiple purchases. Police quickly located the magnetic strips in a 2016 Kia that was parked outside the store.

Arrested were 23 year old Ajemarie L. Parrish, 31 year old Demontre T. Williams, 32 year old Samuel P. Harris and one juvenile. The three adults were charged with criminal simulation and each were booked under a $75,000 bond. The juvenile with the three adults was transported to the Rutherford County Juvenile Detention Center on South Church Street.

As for the stolen credit card numbers, banks have been notified of the case.

The adults are scheduled to be in court on September 6, 2016.
