Smyrna Police are looking for a bank robbery suspect. Bobby Gibson with Smyrna Police tells NewsRadio WGNS a black male suspect entered the Franklin Synergy Bank on Sam Ridley Parkway Friday and handed a note demanding money to the teller. While he did not display a firearm, he implied he was armed.

Gibson says the teller complied with the suspect's demand and received an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect ran out the rear entrance of the bank and was last seen running into the parking lot of a business across the street.
