A Murfreesboro man called the police after being scammed out of $14,500.

The victim told officers that he bought a backhoe online at a company called "Dimarco Auto Consignment Sales" in Florida and has yet to receive the construction equipment. Evidently, the victim paid the company by way of a wire transfer.

A website called ScamGuard.com shows that this is not the first time the so called business has been accused of fraudulent transactions.

On December 17, 2016 a customer reported that he bought a forklift for $15,000, but has yet to receive the forklift. Another customer reported that they bought a John Deere Bulldozer online with the same company on December 12, 2016. However, that customer has not been able to retrieve the equipment either.

So far, no arrests have been made.
