Engineering is a field that has had a great deal of press lately and rightfully so. In the next ten years, the demand for engineers will be four times what it is today. Discovery Center knows that getting children interested in these areas at a very early age is essential to developing critical thinking skills, confidence, and a solid foundation in math and science.

The Discovery Center has teamed up with Engineering for Kids to do just that. Offering programs for ages 4-14 in areas ranging from Robotics to Aerospace Engineering, Engineering for Kids makes learning fun and exciting through hands-on activities and the engineering design process. The programs also encourage team work, problem solving and creative thinking, and are designed to meet national standards in S.T.E.M. Education.

The Discovery Center in Murfreesboro serves over 130,000 children and their families each and every year. The center is a non-profit museum that is located at 502 SE Broad Street.
