GENERATION UPDATE: 89-year old Fats Domino died in New Orleans on Wednesday (10/25/2017). He is known for rock'n roll hits of the late 50s and 60's including "Ain't That A Shame", "Blueberry Hill", "I'm Walk'n", "I'm In Love Again", "Whole Lotta Loving", and many others. Antoine Domino, Jr. was a native of the Crescent City where he lived all of his life. Domino retired from road concerts in the 1980s, and remanined near his home in New Orleans. He continued to live in one of the neighborhoods that was a victim of Hurricane Katrina in 2005, when he lost most of his possessions--including gold records. RIAA replaced those treasures for Domino.
