Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam will visit Murfreesboro on Friday and will speak at the Capitol Connection Breakfast (8:00 AM) presented by the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce at the Embassy Suites Murfreesboro Hotel and Conference Center.

He will speak about the IMPROVE Act, the governor's legislation that cuts $270 million in taxes, including the sales tax on groceries, while proposing a comprehensive and balanced transportation plan that keeps Tennessee a pay-as-you-go state and its roads debt free.
