Greenhouse Ministries raised $81,000 for their capital campaign after their "GameDay" fundraising dinner on Sept. 12.

Greenhouse Ministries hosted a fundraising dinner on Sept. 12 to create awareness about the organization while also raising money for their $6 million building expansion. Over a three year capital campaign period, Greenhouse Ministries hopes to raise the rest of the $6 million to build their new facilities. Greenhouse Ministries' Investor Relations Specialist, Sarah Gwinn, shares her excitement over the capital campaign.

"We continue to be awed at the generosity of the Murfreesboro and Rutherford County community," Gwinn said. "The outpouring of support for our new building and the future of Greenhouse Ministries really speaks to your commitment to serving those in great need in our community."

The expansion of Greenhouse Ministries will include a new, three-story building to expand many of their programs, add new programs and leave room for growth in the future. The expansion will also allow Greenhouse Ministries to purchase the building they are currently in to turn it into a vocational learning center, as well as expand their thrift store, The Garden Patch Thrift Shoppe.
