His message will be based on Ephesians 2:8-9 entitled "Grace Works."

A lecture will take place later in the day at 4PM in the First Baptist Sanctuary on East Main Street. The lecture is entitled "Arminianism Is Grace Centered Theology."

Arminianism is a system of belief that attempts to explain the relationship between God's sovereignty and mankind's free will, especially in relation to salvation.

Arminianism is named after Jacobus Arminius (1560--1609), a Dutch theologian. While Calvinism emphasizes the sovereignty of God, Arminianism emphasizes the responsibility of man.

Again, the free event is on Sunday, September 10th at First Baptist Church on East Main Street at South Spring Street.

Address: 200 E Main St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130
