The sounds of gun fire awoke residents at East Castle Street near First Avenue. Murfreesboro Police Officer Travis Henderson reports around 11:15 Sunday night, he spoke with a resident in the area who said he saw a red truck on East Castle, heading toward First Avenue. He said he could see flashes coming from the vehicle and loud pops. Eight shell casings were found on East Castle, between First Avenue and South Bilbro. They were collected and sent to the TBI.
