Murfreesboro Police are looking into gun fire in the 15-hundred block of Belle Oaks Drive. They were called to the area by someone who heard the shots from outside their home Saturday night just before 11pm. They reported hearing a car speed off after the shots were fired. Another neighbor also reported hearing the gun shots. No one was injuried and no damage was seen to cars or homes. However, police did find three spent .380 shell casings. Detectives were called to the scene and have taken over the investigation.
