Anne Hoke and Associates and Site Engineering Consultants are sponsoring this coming Saturday's Habitat for Humanity's Third Annual BUILD IT FORWARD. In a 5-hour time span, over 100 volunteers will be at the Grove At Williamson Place, across from The Avenue, to build all of the walls for a new Habitat Home.

Volunteers will also work hand-in-hand with Habitat Future Homeowner Shameka, who is completing her requirements to buy her Habitat home through a 0-interest mortgage program for low-income families. Shameka is completing Habitat's unique 50-hour Financial and Homeowner Education Program and the required 300 hours of "sweat equity". The program prepares Habitat homeowners to manage their money, create household budgets, make good consumer choices, maintain their home and permanently get out of a cycle of poverty.

This Saturday's event will end at 2:30PM with a group photo with volunteers prior to loading the walls onto trailers for transporting to the residential home site on Douglas Ave. in Murfreesboro, as part of the Schneider Electric Build.

Site construction will start October 5th and be completed December 13th in time for the Christmas holidays!

The community is encouraged to attend this coming Saturday's BUILD IT FORWARD at The Grove and learn more about Habitat for Humanity.
