FROM THE HALE CAMPAIGN

The Christopher Hale for Tennessee Campaign raised over $40,000 in the first six weeks according to the campaign's financial disclosure. This figure well outpaced Republican incumbent Scott DesJarlais for the same time period, according to the Hale campaign.

"We didn't raise a dime from corporations, PACS, or lobbyists because I'm not for sale to the highest bidder," said Christopher Hale. "And unlike DesJarlais and others, I won't spend your grassroots contributions on Washington consultants or fundraising firms, because the people of Tennessee have had enough of corporate spin, stale talking points, and overpaid consultants that make robots of our candidates and don't win elections. Instead, we're hiring local staff to do the crucial work of meeting people, sharing our message, and carrying us to victory in November. There's a false choice in politics between rejecting corporate money and raising enough resources to win elections and create change. We reject that. We choose both."

Hale is running for Congress to stand up to the bullies, fight for the forgotten, and bring people of all different stripes together to solve problems and create a new way forward for Tennessee and America.
