The Junior League of Murfreesboro invites citizens and those within the neighboring public to join them for their annual Be Well Boro Health and Wellness Fair at Stones River Mall on Saturday, April 16th, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. WGNS was told that this free event is an ideal opportunity for community members to consult with local health and wellness providers while receiving an array of services. "We are thrilled to partner with Junior League Murfreesboro by hosting Be Well Boro at Stones River Mall," said Melinda Hudgins Noblitt, Marketing and Events Manager for Stones River Mall. "This event allows us an opportunity to share health- and wellness-focused vendors, services, and activities with our shoppers."

Participants will gain insight into their overall personal health status by way of one-on-one consultations including screenings for Body Mass Index (BMI), blood pressure, blood sugar, hearing loss, and posture assessments. Magnolia Medical Center will be performing free massages to reduce stress and the Beauty Studio will be offering make overs. The Primary Hope and Care Clinic will be providing information regarding breast cancer warning signs and preventative measures. Additionally, Senior Helpers will be bringing the mobile dementia unit, which is an enlightening experience about a brain disease that impacts so many. Skin cancer exams will also be provided by Stones River Dermatology.
