As we near August, the high school football season is just around the corner. We have posted the schedule of the nine TSSAA football playing schools on our website, WGNSRadio.com in sports. Not only did we put the schedule for each school, but also a week-by-week schedule, so you can see the weekly matchups. As always, WGNS will be at area games on Friday nights with our microphones to broadcast. Bryan Barrett, Jon Dinkins and Donnie Johnson will in the station's 67th year of coverage. We will kick it off from Smyrna, which hosts the third annual Rutherford County Jamboree, on August 15th. The Prentice Alsup Heating and Air Coaches Corner and MTCS Cougar Corner from Farmer's Family Restaurant will kick off the season on Saturday, August 16th.
