The historic season for the Middle Tennessee Christian School boys ends in the quarterfinals of the BlueCross Basketball Championships. Two-time defending state champion Memphis Mitchell had all they wanted, but beat the Cougars 55-41.

The Cougars were within seven with about 3:30 left to play. But some crutial turnovers hurt their chances to come back in the game.

Barr Ellenburg led MTCS with 14 points and Luke Howell chipped in 10.

Piercey talks about the tremendous fan support for his team, making their first-ever appearance in the state tournament...

The MTCS boys basketball season ended in a place it's never ended before, in the state tournament, at 21-and-10.
