Home Depot worker admits to theft at local store

A woman who worked at Home Depot in Murfreesboro has been arrested after allegedly stealing over $2,000 from the cash register. A loss prevention worker told police the female was caught on camera taking the cash.

A police report dated October 13, 2014 shows that 21-year old Taylor Truss admitted to the theft. She allegedly gained the cash by making false merchandise returns. Evidently the woman admitted to the theft that added up to $2,800 prior to being transported to the local jail.
