In La Vergne, police are investigating a home invasion. A woman was said to have been held at gunpoint at Cedar Ridge Apartments while intruders ransacked her residence. The incident occurred early Tuesday morning.

The unknown thieves fled the apartment on foot and police quickly responded going from door to door looking for the culprits. Officers found several items stolen from the victims apartment within another unit at the complex. Police also recovered several things from other burglaries in the suspect’s apartment.

The case is being investigated.
