Murfreesboro Police are investigating a reported beating and robbery of a local homeless man. The 25-year old victim told Officer Dominik Riley he was invited to a party at the 600 block of Olympia Place. It was there he was assaulted and his phone and wallet taken. The report was taken around 4:45 Tuesday morning.

The officer noted in his report the victim has a laceration to the left side of his head that required stitches, multiple bruises and a possible broken arm. Detectives are following up on leads in the case.
