A 31-year old Murfreesboro man who is currently incarcerated at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center is facing more charges on top of the domestic violence charges he is already facing. Chad Ghee is accused of using the jail phone to call his mother and threaten to kill her, according to a police report.

Ghee was picked up by Murfreesboro Detectives and transferred to the police department for questioning. Once at the police headquarters, he was interviewed and eventually charged with making the threatening phone calls to his mother.

Ghee, who is still jailed, will appear in court on February 18, 2016.
