Murfreesboro Police are investigating an aggravated robbery at gun point that occurred at a Willowbrook Drive apartment complex.

The 22-year old victim from La Vergne reported to officers he was robbed at gun point by three black males Thursday just before 7:30pm at Northfield Commons.

He told authorities he made contact with a "Rambo" on Instagram direct message, asking for the name of a tattoo artist. The victim met "Rambo" and two other men in the Walmart shopping center on South Rutherford so they could take him to get the tattoo.

That's when he was driven to the apartment complex, which is where he was told the tattoo artist lived. The victim was then asked to show them the money for the tattoo, which he replied he couldn't until he saw him.

It's at that point the front seat passenger allegedly pulled a pistol and demanded his phone and wallet. The victim struggled to get out of the back seat past the other two passengers. One could be heard saying "stop messing with this guy and just pop him."

The victim was able to get out of the vehicle, ran away and yelled for someone to call police. No shots were fired during the altercation.

The man only lost his identification in his wallet as he hid his money inside his sock.

Authorities describe the three men as black males. Two were heavy set, between six-foot-one and six-foot-two. The other was skinny, about five-eight with dreads and a ponytail.
