A 20-year old man has been arrested and charged with two felonies, according to the La Vergne Police Department. Tyler Hubbard has been charged with Especially Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor and Soliciting Sexual Exploitation of a Minor following an investigation into the death of 14-year old Sherokee Harriman.
Ms. Harriman died of a self-inflicted knife wound on September 5th. During the investigation, police accessed her facebook account from her cell phone. Detective Stephen Hale stated that police discovered evidence of inappropriate content by an adult male directed to the teen a year ago.
When Tyler Hubbard was questioned by La Vergne police, he reportedly confessed his involvement. Hubbard was arrested at 1:30 Thursday (10/15/2015) afternoon, and is being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $250,000 bond.
