Middle Tennessee women's basketball will host a selection show viewing party on Monday in the ballroom of the new Student Union Building on campus. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the show starting at 6 p.m. on ESPN. The event is open to the public.
The Blue Raiders (29-4) clinched their sixth consecutive NCAA Tournament berth and the 17th in program history on Saturday. Middle Tennessee's commanding 84-55 victory over Southern Miss gave the Raiders their first Conference USA Championship title. The 29-point margin was the largest ever in the 19-year history of the C-USA tournament.
MT's 29 victories is the second most in program history. The Raiders have won 14 conference tournament titles, five under head coach Rick Insell.
