Kathy Tyson, the Public Information Officer for LaVergne told WGNS the victims may have known the culprits who broke into their home. She stated, “There is a good possibility that they knew the attackers.”

According to police, the subdivision where the home invasion was reported is typically a very quiet neighborhood. Police are now looking for the people responsible for the crime and will fully prosecute everyone involved to the fullest extent allowed by the law.
