After the broadcast, County Commissioner Pettus Read phoned to share informatition that in Johnson County, Tennessee there are cranberry bogs just like the ones seen on the TV commercial. He explained that those cranberries need a northern soils and environments, which is the northeast corner of Tennessee on the borders of Virginia and North Carolina. The county seat of Johnson County is Mountain City.
