There was a serious auto accident on Jefferson Pike Monday morning. According to what was heard on the police scanner, LifeFlight Helicopter landed in the parking lot of Gil’s Ace Hardware at 11:20, Monday morning. The hardware store is located near the scene of the crash.

One person was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center for treatment.
