Murfreesboro was well represented at this weekend's National High School Cheerleading Competition at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Congratulations to Blackman High School who are the national champions. This event is the most prestigious cheerleading championship in the entire country.
Other Rutherford County teams placed well in this nationwide competition. The Blackman Heat (junior division) placed fourth in the entire nation. Scales Elementary placed fifth in the USA in their division, and Christiana Middle School placed third in the nation in their division.
