Whitt's Barbeque on South Church Street in Murfreesboro was broken into early Wednesday morning or late Tuesday night. Apparently, someone broke the glass on the drive thru window to gain access into the business that sits across the street from Indian Hills Subdivision.

An employee of the restaurant that the store safe had been opened and deposit bags were missing along with cash.

The burglary and theft is under investigation at this time. No suspects have been named.
