The Beehive Salon, in Murfreesboro TN, is passionate about Raising Awareness, Research Funds and Supporting local families who have a child fighting cancer.

  • World wide a child is diagnosed every 3 minutes.
  • In the U.S. more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease.
  • All types of childhood cancers combined receive only 4% of the U.S. Federal Funding for cancer research.

In an effort to raise the much needed awareness for childhood cancer, the WhippingCancer4Kids Challenge, which was inspired by the success of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, is challenging Middle Tn residents to stand up and be the voice of CHANGE! We must Unite and Fight against the number one disease killer of children!

The challenge is simple; Take a ' whipped 'cream pie to the face for childhood cancer. We ask that you make a donation to St. Baldrick's Foundation or to any local foundation or family of your choice. Then challenge at least 3 others to participate. Individuals that are challenged are asked to film their challenge, and share it on Facebook and Twitter using the hashtag #WhippingCancer4Kids.

Donations can dropped off or mailed to The Beehive Salon-2805 Old Fort Parkway Suite E Murfreesboro, TN 37128. Check and Cash donations will be accepted. All cash donations will be distributed evenly between St. Baldrick's Foundation, Live 4 Tay Foundation, Team Makenzie and Fight for Leah Bee.
