Local man accused of home invasion in Unionville
March 20, 2009
It was a Murfreesboro man who was accused of a home invasion in nearby Unionville, a quiet community in Bedford County, on February 20th. Larry Randall Henry the second has been charged with aggravated burglary for the crime that took place during the daylight hours. Reports indicate when Henry broke into the home, a terrified 13-year old girl quietly hid under her grandmother’s bed. The child was home from school sick when she heard a knock at the front door. The child told authorities she did not answer the door when she did not recognize the man. As the child walked to the living room of the home, she heard the man breaking in the back door. That was when she made way to her grandmother’s bedroom and hid. At one point, Henry actually heard the child and looked under the bed. After seeing the 13-year old, he fled the scene.
Bedford County Detective Brian Farris and Deputy Todd Hammond were the two who broke the case thanks to the help that the little girl provided. She got a good look at the suspect and his vehicle.

Got something to say?

I live next door to this poor child and her family. It amazes me how people are willing to work so hard to break in and steal things from other people, but are unwilling to apply themselves to legitimate work. Disgusting ….. absolutely disgusting.
