Online News: Keller Williams’s associates will be taking the day off on Thursday, May 8, 2014, but it will hardly be a day of rest. Associates with the Keller Williams Realty Nashville/Murfreesboro, have chosen Murfreesboro as part of RED Day, one of the biggest events in the real estate industry.

Short for “Renew, Energize and Donate,” RED Day was created to unite Keller Williams Realty offices and associates in an international day of service.

As part of the RED Day effort, Keller Williams Realty Nashville/Murfreesboro has chosen to spend the day with the Murfreesboro Boys and Girls Club at 820 Jones Blvd. from 7:00 am till 5:00 pm.   The Boys and Girls Club will receive updates to the current children’s playground, more than 200 personal cubbies for children’s books and storage. Exterior water drainage issues will be address with misc. interior repairs and updates. Safety work will also be completed at the pavilion.

“This event is an entrenched part of Keller Williams Realty’s culture and displays the extraordinary effect a company can have when individuals come together to work as a team for the greater good of everyone,” said Team Leader Terry Tatum.  “Previous years included State Veterans Home received a newly constructed pavilion along with raised flower beds and tree filled berm that provides a park like setting for both families and residents”.  “In addition, the Salvation Army received new playground equipment, pavilion and many interior updates throughout the building including a new teen room and family room”.
