Only about $100 was actually stolen from the restaurant, but about $2,000 worth of food had to be thrown out…

The Bangkok Thai Cuisine is a restaurant that has been a part of Murfreesboro for years and years. The establishment, that started on the local square under the name of “Bangkok Café” and later moved to Robert Rose Drive near the Stones River Mall in 2006, was broken into in recent days. The unknown subject (or subjects) that shattered the front door window to make entry, evidently stomped through the kitchen. Out of concern the owner decided to scrap the food in the kitchen, just in case it had been contaminated by the unknown thief.
