As the Boston Marathon is approaching, Fleet Feet Sports Murfreesboro will host "Boro for Boston Tribute Run,"  April 19th, 10am at Fleet Feet Sports. In recognition of this historical tragedy, this run/walk will be in memory of all the victims, families and running community. There will be two distance options each of significance; 2.62 mile run referencing the distance of the Boston Marathon and a 4:02 mile run referencing the time of the bomb explosion. Krista Dugosh with Fleet Feet Murfreesboro stated, "Let’s come together to raise awareness and never forget."
