A 22-year old Murfreesboro man has been charged with aggravated assault after allegedly stabbing someone when they reportedly asked him to leave their party. After John Lemen was reportedly asked by the victim to leave the party located in a home on Wilson Avenue, he allegedly pulled out a knife and took a swing at the victim cutting the victim on the side. Shortly after the incident Lemen was arrested by police and charged with “Aggravated Assault.” The victim was not seriously injured.
Lemen, who works at a local restaurant, was booked under a $10,000 bond on Monday and as of Tuesday he remained behind bars. He will appear in court on September 9, 2013.
