A 39-year old Antioch man had to be taken to Vanderbilt Hospital after suffering several eye socket fractures and cuts during an assault at Bullseye Sportsbar on River Rock Boulevard. The assault happened on Sunday morning around 6. The victim apparently went to the back patio to play a game of pool. That's when witnesses say an unknown suspect bi-racial male hit him. The suspect fled and the victim was first taken to St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital before being transported to Nashville for surgery. The responding officer was unable to get a statement from the victim at the time the police report was taken due to his injuries. The suspect is described as bi-racial, around 5-foot-10-inches, heavy set and wearing a black shirt and jeans at the time of the incident.
