Murfreesboro Police received an odd call on Tuesday. A man went into the Kroger store on Memorial Blvd. and inquired about a job. The culprit informed the store manager that he was on probation, but was a hard worker. The manager explained the hiring process and soon after the prospective employee left.

Minutes later, the manager saw the potential hire loading 5-18-packs of Budlight and 5-12-packs of Budlight into his car. Here’s the kicker… the man is accused of stealing the beer and simply walking out of the store without paying for it. This occurred only minutes after he inquired about a job. The possible new employee - turned suspect - then fled the scene. Police know exactly who the culprit is and a warrant will be obtained.
