A man in LaVergne at a home on Spanish Oak Circle allegedly barricaded himself in the house after threatening to harm himself Sunday night. Family members dialed police out of fear for the subjects safety. 

WGNS spoke to LaVergne Police Chief Mike Walker shortly after midnight and he told us that the outcome of the event was positive and no one was hurt. He further stated that the young man in the home did not harm himself and was transported to the hospital. No charges will be filed.
