A 27-year old homeless man has been arrested after punching another homeless man in the face. Ernest Young evidently punched the victim and then fled the scene. The incident occurred on West Castle Street, according to the victim and a witness who saw the punch allegedly being thrown.

The victim told police that Young punched him after a disagreement. After the assault, Young headed to a nearby McDonalds where he was apprehended. According to the report on file at the MPD, "Mr. Young stated that he knew that he was going to jail, but initially denied assaulting [the victim]. He later stated that he wished to apologize to [the victim] to keep him from pressing charges."
