Man steals kids clothes, cursed an employee and left in a Lincoln Navigator

The subject drove away from the crime in a black Lincoln Navigator after allegedly stealing clothing. The incident occurred at Carter's Children's store in the Avenue on Wednesday.

An employee at the store said the man walked in and stuffed clothing in his large cargo pants pockets. When the worker asked if she could help him, he reportedly started cussing her. She told the shoplifter to leave because children were present in the store with their parents. He then left the store without paying for the merchandise and drove away in the Lincoln SUV.

According to the report on file with the MPD, the man stole two kids shirts and three pairs of children's pants, all size 5.

So far, he has not been caught.
